01 / Profile

Ahmed Al-Junaid is an architect and interior designer working between Jeddah and Florence. He holds a Master’s degree in Architecture and Architectural Engineering from the University of Florence, graduating with distinction. His work spans healthcare, private residences, interiors and destination concepts, bringing spatial strategy together with practical design development.
UDZ brings together an Italian architectural education and a close understanding of Saudi contexts. Each project starts with the client’s brief, the character of its setting and the people who will use it.
Ahmed’s experience includes design and technical coordination, tender documentation, material and furniture selection, and site supervision. This continuity connects early design intentions to the decisions made during delivery.
The practice works across architecture, interior design and masterplanning, with an interest in cultural identity, clear visitor journeys and spaces that feel considered at every scale.
